96% of our clients receive offers within 4 months, even with the current job market. For reference, we keep tabs on potential clients that inquire but don’t end up signing up for whatever reason, and the average time to land a corporate job for them in this market is 10 months. 

The interview rate is highly variable depending on your resume and qualifications. If you are currently getting 1 interview invite for every 100 cold applications you submit, you can expect around 10 interviews for 1,000 applications through OverApply. We are submitting exactly the same information and resume that you do, so the response rate should be similar on a per application basis, and the results come from massively increasing the number of applications.

While we do recommend this in some form to everybody on the job hunt, using a human virtual assistant works best when applying for mid-level and senior-level roles with job titles that have large volumes of job postings such as business analyst, data analyst, data engineer, software engineer, etc. 

Our default is to have your human virtual assistant pick the jobs for you based on the job application criteria that you outline for us in response to our onboarding questions. This will include criteria such as remote/hybrid/in-office requirements, job titles, salary requirements, etc. This will save you time (imagine the time it would take you to pick out 1,000 jobs for us to apply to every month). However, if you prefer to list some or all of the jobs yourself, you can do that by placing your job application requests onto our application tracker.

For our beginner, standard, and premium packages, we do not customize resumes and cover letters. We have found that the increased time it takes to customize resumes and cover letters would result in fewer applications submitted, which would decrease the number of interviews you receive. You do have the option to use more than one resume, one for each type of role. For example, if you are applying to Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and Data Engineer roles, you can submit one resume for each job title and we can submit the appropriate resume for each application. As for cover letters, there is a potential big liability of occasionally forgetting to change the company name or address on the cover letter, which would lead to an instant rejection. This could happen even with AI assistance. Given this risk, as well as the fact that most companies do not read cover letters, it is better for your human assistant to submit your applications without cover letters.

Most of our human assistants are located out of the Philippines. For the Platinum Reverse Recruiting Package, your human assistants will be working out of a physical office in Egypt, with the CEO reviewing their work to ensure resumes and cover letters are being changed appropriately and networking messages are sent with correct personalization and without errors. In either case, we are very selective with our human assistants and only select the top 1% of applicants. 

While OverApply does not work as well for entry-level roles as it does for mid-level and senior-level roles due to the lower response rate currently in the entry-level job market, it is still the most effective option available for entry-level job seekers. The issue is that most college graduates can only afford a 1 or 2 months of the service, which is long enough to get interviews but in most cases not long enough to land an offer particularly for entry-level jobs. We have found that OverApply is particularly helpful for those who are currently working a part time job and want to apply for a full-time corporate job. For example, we have helped many fresh college graduates save time on applications and use that time to work more at their current service jobs (e.g. fast food, warehouse, delivery jobs etc). This way, they are paying ~$4 an hour for full time job applications and using that extra time to work more hours at their job for $15-20 an hour, making the purchase immediately profitable for them regardless of the job search results.

Subscriptions will renew every month until you cancel. Cancellation can be done through the account that you made on our website during the purchase process. If you have any difficulty cancelling, we can help you with the cancellation. If you intend to not continue for the upcoming month, please make sure you cancel before the renewal date. If you cancel after the renewal date but before applications for the next month start, then we can issue you a full refund minus the transaction fee for our payment processor. If you cancel after applications have started for the new month, then your subscription would not renew again, but a refund would not be issued. 

In some cases, the purchased applications will take slightly longer than 1 month to complete. This would happen if  your requirements are fairly niche and there are not enough available job postings that match your criteria. For example, if you are looking for remote part-time Medical Director roles, there won’t be enough job postings for us to complete 1,000 applications within one month. For this reason, we would suggest contacting us first if your requirements are niche. We have lower volume packages available such as the beginner package, or the Reverse Recruiting package if you’d like to make sure that each application is tailored given the lower availability of job postings in your field. In the event that you end up ordering a package that we cannot complete within 1 month, we will keep working on the applications until they are complete. Your applications will not expire. 

Each application will be manually recorded by your human assistant on an Application Tracker on Google Sheets, including information like Job Title, Company Name, and application number. You will have access to this tracker and will be able to see your human assistant working in real time. 

After you place your order online, we will send you our onboarding questions which will ask about your job selection criteria and information we need to input into your job applications. After you respond to our onboarding questions and send along your resume or resumes, we will then create the application tracker and shared email and start applying to jobs for you.

You will automatically receive an email confirmation for every application that is submitted, just as you do when you apply to jobs on your own.

By default, we will not submit any EasyApply applications unless you specify that you want us to. These will be full length Workday style applications that will yield a higher interview rate than EasyApply.

Due to the initial set-up which takes both American high-skilled labor and foreign labor, it would be uneconomical for us to offer a trial period any shorter than 1 month. You can consider the first month to be your trial, as in most cases it takes longer than 1 month to land an offer.

a)  For our beginner, standard, and premium packages, the price you are paying for foreign labor is around $4 an hour. On top of that, you do not need to spend time micro-managing your human assistant, as that will be handled by highly skilled American labor, which is included in these packages. If you’re an American, your time is worth more than $4 an hour and it does not make sense to apply to jobs on your own.

b)  For our Reverse Recruiting Package, this is geared towards senior executives who want to make every application count. While it is much more expensive on a per-application basis, it is a lot more labor intensive with the custom resumes and cover letters for each application, as well as referral call set ups via LinkedIn DMs. This takes foreign labor to do grunt work, American high-skilled labor to review all of the foreign labor’s work, and then rent for physical office space to ensure close proximity to the human assistants and ability to review their work efficiently. While the Reverse Recruiting package is not for everyone, it is the best option available for Senior Executives or people looking for very niche roles.
